A Test of Honor – A Medieval Scifi Book

Sir Aidan returns to his home planet after three long years fighting in the Great Galactic War. His family has died from a mysterious plague, and their claim revoked by the King’s Deputy, the head of a rival family. Certain that his family was murdered by poison, Aidan chooses to fight, recruiting a band of outlaws led by a charismatic woman named Charlene.

But everything changes when his old family steward brings him the journals kept by his father and siblings. They were poisoned for a reason. Aidan has inherited not merely an estate, but a movement that threatens to engulf all of Caledonia in revolution and overturn the established Neo-Feudal order. Does Aidan have the strength, courage, and cunning to fulfill his father’s ultimate vision for their world, or will the forces controlling Caledonia prove too much for his ramshackle army?
